La’Dweena Smith currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Keller Williams ONEChicago (KW1C), a thriving real estate company with over 400 agents, headquartered in the Lincoln Park neighborhood of Chicago, IL. As CEO, she is primarily responsible for overseeing and managing the organization’s growth, production, and overall profitability. Under her leadership, KW1C continues to expand its reach and impact within the Chicago real estate market.
In addition to her role at KW1C, La’Dweena is making history as part of a Black investor group that is bringing a Keller Williams franchise to the Southside of Chicago. This initiative aims to provide valuable real estate resources, education, and opportunities to historically underserved communities, helping to bridge the gap in homeownership and wealth-building.
La’Dweena is also deeply involved in advancing diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) within Keller Williams. She serves as the Chair of the KW Regional Social Equity Task Force and is recognized as a national DEI leader, working to create equitable opportunities for real estate professionals and communities alike.
Beyond her executive role, La’Dweena is the founder and leader of Home Smith Homes, her successful real estate business that assists buyers, sellers, and investors in achieving their real estate goals. Her passion for helping others build generational wealth through real estate is evident in the personalized service and expertise she provides to her clients.
La’Dweena is also a dedicated member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. and was instrumental in chartering the Chicago Metropolitan Alumnae Chapter, which now boasts over 500 members. Her commitment to service, leadership, and empowerment extends beyond real estate, as she actively engages in initiatives that uplift her community.
Outside of her professional endeavors, La’Dweena enjoys spending time with family and friends. She loves cooking, biking, reading, and socializing, making the most of life both professionally and personally.
